Sheila Lowe, SAFE’s Ethics Chair, has been qualified as a handwriting expert since 1985 after twenty years of practicing graphology. She has taught document examination at UC Riverside in the CSI certificate program and at UC Santa Barbara in the Discovery program, as well to numerous high school seniors in mock trial prep, and many other venues. Abstract
Sheila Lowe recently testified in a murder trial that involved two purported suicide notes. On the prosecution side, a private document examiner with a government background, and one from the secret service. In this interesting case study, Sheila will share the opinions of both, as well as her own.
