In December of each year, SAFE™ publishes a professional journal of articles written on the topic of forensic document examination. The journal is distributed to members as a benefit of membership.
CFDE certified members can earn points toward re-certification by writing an article about new topics they have researched or a unique case on which they worked.
Articles have been on the subject of methods for examination of handwriting, discovery of altered documents, potential biases that may adversely affect the opinions offered by forensic document examiners, and many other topics.
All interested people whether or not they are members of SAFE™, are welcome to submit articles for consideration for publication. All articles must be submitted on or before September 1 of the respective yer of publication. The journal is published in December.
Contact E’lyn Bryan at firstname.lastname@example.org for submission details.
