Abstract:

When the opposing side pulls unexpected punches -how do you respond?

This presentation is based on 2 recent cases I experienced.

Identify their Strength and weaknesses by maintaining your integrity in the process.

How to provide an air tight strategy that aids the trier of fact to understand your evidence rather than the opposing side.

Bio:

Beverley East MGA, CAM, CFDE is a court qualified Forensic Document Examiner who has practiced in the field for 32 years internationally. She has offices in Kingston Jamaica, Washington D.C., and London England.  She has testified before 36 judges in six countries.  Miss East consulted on an Emmy nominated episode with the Smithsonian history Channel.  She participated in an FBI Handwriting Identification Research Study in 2020.  In 2015 she received the forerunner Award from the Institute of Caribbean Studies for her work in the Caribbean region.  She sits on several Boards and has a Board-Certified Study program on QDE.

She consults with many government agencies in areas of Money Laundering and QDE training.

She is also a bestselling author of three books:  Finding Mr. Write – a New Slant on Selecting the Perfect Mate, Reaper of Souls a novel on the 1957 Kendal Crash, Bat mitzvah Girl Memories of a Jamaican child. She was named by Ebony magazine in 2018 as one of the “Six Caribbean writers you should take some time to discover”

Her fourth book “Whose Signature is it Anyway? Complexities of Caribbean Fraud” will be released in 2021.
