Bio
Yoni Cohen is a Junior at Savannah College of Art and Design, where he is pursuing a BFA in Sound Design. Yoni has been involved within the entertainment industry for 5 years working on projects including SCAD’s Talkshow Too Late with Andrew Badami, where he was responsible for developing a soundscape for the episode and oversaw his hand-picked sound crew. He has recently been working as a foley artist on multiple horror films, where he created the sounds of choking and body slams with a paper bag, a shammy cloth, and 3 pillows. He aspires to work within the Film industry as a Foley artist. Yoni is continuing his studies working on multiple student run projects as a Foley Artist, Sound Supervisor, and Re-Recording Mixer.

Abstract
Join Yoni Cohen, a Sound Design BFA at Savannah College of Art and Design as he takes you through the process of creating foley for up-and-coming films. Yoni will define foley art and mixing by demonstrating the use of everyday objects in unexpected ways to replicate a layered soundscape. Following Yoni’s demonstrations, there will be a designated Q&A section.
