Bio:
Reed Hayes has practiced forensic handwriting and document examination for over four decades. He is a graduate of the Andrew Bradley Training Course in Forensic Document Examination (beginning and advanced) and holds certification from the National Association of Document Examiners (NADE). He is currently a board member of NADE and also serves as SAFE’s Membership and Certification Chairs.
Reed is the author and co-author of several books, including Forensic Handwriting Examination: A Definitive Guide and his most recent book Reflections of a Forensic Handwriting Expert.
Abstract:
Reed Hayes will present a study of an embezzlement case involving 4500-5000 documents. Reed will explain his methodology, findings, portions of his report and exhibits as well as the outcome of the case, including prison time for the perpetrators. Class time will be open for discussion and comments.
